" Jacques Henri Lartigue It is only after long reflections, deep researches, painful routes, hazardous - and even perilous - explorations, amazing discoveries, various meetings, and other multiple happy or unhappy experiments, that, for my point of view, a clearer and finer definition of art was finally shaped. Combined with an eye becoming more curious and more expert, with the simple fact of chance - but what a fortunate coincidence! -, with an extreme lassitude in the unrestrained race of the “adult world”, as well as with a great thirst for alleviating plenitude which reigns in nature, and finally under the impulse of a savage will of returning - a priori impossible - in this simple world of childhood - a laughing and carefree one - that only daydreams could probably make live again,… here are all the leavens, expedients and other ingredients which contributed to concocter these tasty discoveries which I have pleasure to share in these pages, like a good meal between friends! And since “Eating opens the doors of Paradise”, as says the Chinese proverb, I thus invite you to consume and taste without restriction this “Photographic harvest”, even if you may “swim in happiness"! The key to freedom is there, perhaps in these magic images, the escape waits: let us look at, see, dream, create, and become again children as at the time of simple joys!
